Bio: Lizzie Hughes studied at The Slade School of Fine Art where she gained a BA (in 1997) and an MFA (in 2002) in Sculpture. She is based in London and has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad. Recent exhibitions include: Slow Glass – Lisa Cooley, New York, Rub Out The Word – d.u.m.b.o. arts centre, New York and East End Academy – Whitechapel Gallery, London. She is currently undertaking a five year residency at the ACME Fire Station Building in London.
